I've Been Tagged..

The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

4th Post today!!

Well Get me.... 4 posts in 1 day!! I have made this card for someones birthday in a few days. The layout and materials I used were inspired by the cards I see on Michelle's blog www.cardgrotto.blogspot.com . I have used Bazzill Bling card stock for this card and I embossed the darker lilac centre strip with my Paisley Cuttlebug embossing folder. The clip is by Making Memories, the stamp is called Ballerina Bear and is from Whipper Snapper, Greeting from CWC and the Gems are Papermania.

I have been in a real crafting mood the last couple of days, as you can proberly tell! My youngest son is not well and has a terrible cold so only wants to lay on the sofa and watch TV, though he has managed a packet of sweets this afternoon!!! which did apparently make him feel better, that is until he realised it's Beef casserole for tea and has suddenly took a turn for the worst and says he doesn't think he can manage any tea tonight!! Hmmm.... !!

Hope you are all having a good day, I am going to go now and clean up the mess I have made in my craftroom. How come you go in to make a few cards and end up with everything out and before you know it it looks like there has been a major explosion in there!! ha ha.... bet i'm not the only crafter that is like this. I keep meaning to post a pic of my craftroom but it is never tidy enough lol. Maybe one day...

On a roll.....

Well I don't know what has happened today, but the ideas are flowing!! I have had a great afternoon in my craft room and have made 4 cards already. I am going to stop to feed the children lol, then i'm gonna come back in to make some more.

In a few weeks time I am selling my cards at my son's schools summer fayre, so need to be making lots more. The mouse stamp and duck stamp are new ones that I got in the post yesterday from The Glitterpot.

The mouse stamp is Penny Black and is called crossing Bridges and the duck is by Whipper Snapper and is called Flowers for you.

I hope you are having a great weekend. The sun has now come out in Paignton and the rain has disappeared for a little while! ( I'm sure it will be back though)!!! Have a great Bank holiday, and by the way thank you to everyone that sent me an award I will be putting them on my blog as soon as I remember how to... LOL. ( Computers and me are a bad mix!!)

Happy Birthday Hannah..

This is a card and candle order for my friend. Her daughter will be 8 next week.
My photography is terrible so you can't see a lot of the details. I have used Stickles to give it some sparkle but it does not really show in the pictures. I have also used my swiss dots folder to emboss the Lettering at the Top.

Backing Paper - DCWV Nannas kids
Ribbon - Little silver hat.
Greetings - CWC
Flowers - Prima Espirit
The rest is from my stash.

I haven't been blogging lately as I have been busy making a card that is very different to my usual style. I had hoped to get it finished and posted today, but after doing this card and candle I lost my mojo.

I would also like to thenk Natalie for the lovely award she has given me. I will post it lateron and also pass it on. I am in a bit of a rush to go and collect the kids from school. So TTFN and I will be back later.

Hope your all having a good day.

Experimenting with Pink and Brown.

After viewing other peoples blogs and noticing how good Pink and Brown look together, I decided to try them myself. For the second card I used my new Whipper Snapper stamp which I think is very cute! The last time I posted cards made with my Whipper snapper stamps alot of people asked where I get them from. I get all my Whipper Snappers from an American Ebay seller his Ebay I.D is olddonsgeneralstore (all one word). His stamps are great value especially with the good exchange rate with the Dolar at the moment. This seller also offers a combined postage that is a very reasonable price. I have placed three orders with him and have always recieved my parcel around 6 days after paying. I have always recieved a GREAT service from him aswell.

Hope you have all had a great weekend.

Crafty storage...

As my collection of stamped images just keeps growing and growing thanks to all the kind people that have sent me images and beautiful wallets, I thought it was high time I got something to store them all in. After searching endlessly on the internet trying to find a Maya Road coffee break tin and getting nowhere I came across this biscuit tin in Morrisons for £2.99. I decided to pick it up as I thought it would be ideal for altering into a little filing tin.

I used Cup cake papers to cover and then added some Ribbon, prima flowers and a stamped image. I used my sizzix Smart Guy Alphabet to do the wording. I am pleased with it but it didn't come out as I expected it to.

Hope you are all ok. Have a good bank holiday weekend whatever you maybe doing.
