Well what a lovely day again, today has been really hot here. So to keep up with the summery feel I have a flower project to share. These are origami paper flower pens. I made these last night and had a lot of fun making them.

They look so pretty stood in a pot or jar together. I used a paper pad by Teresa collings to make them, and added buttons to the centres to finish them off.
Don't they look lovely. Below you can see how they look out of the pot. I hope you like them, I sure do. Be back soon, enjoy the sunshine.

Gorjuss Girl card

Hi Everyone, today I have a Gorjuss girl card to show you. I love these stamps by santoro graphics there are so adorable and easy to colour too. I thought I would use a different colour scheme to the usual ones I use and I love the way it turned out. The image has been cut out with a die and then mounted onto the card using 3D foam pads. Some of the hearts have also been mounted on foam pads to give the card some dimension.
Below is another view of the card from a side angle. Hope you like the Black, White and Red combo. Be back soon with another card, Promise not to leave it so long this time!! Have a good day.

Sunday, 4 March 2012

Good afternoon, I hope you are all having a relaxing Sunday. The sun has come out here this afternoon which has got me in a summery mood! hence the colours used on this card. I made this card for a friends birthday. I used the Gorjuss Girls stamps and paper pieced their dresses. The paper is from Bo Bunny and is from the Ambrosia collection which has just been released at CHA 2012.

I have distressed the papers and card quite heavily to give the card a shabby look. Obviously with all the dimension that is on this card it will be going into a box rather than an envelope!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Tomorrow I am teaching monochromatic cards so if you are booked into this class I will see you tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by

Cupcake

Good morning everyone, thank goodness it's the weekend! I am trying to catch up with uploading the cards that I have made over the last few weeks. If only we could have a few more hours in each day!
Anyway onto the card. This is a card I made using another Pure innocence stamp by MFT. I really do love these stamps and they are great for using your Pro markers or copics to colour in. The design papers I used are from Basic Grey and the collection is called "Kissing booth."
I used my sewing machine to stitch the papers. I also paper pieced the little girls dress. The sentiment stamp is also from MFT but I can't remember what the set is called. Below is a view of the inside of the card. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like the card.

Owl note book

Here is a little note book that I have made using my Cinch Binding tool. It is only a small book, it is 13cm square, a perfect size to carry in your bag. The papers I used are from My minds eye. The owl has been made with circle punches, except for his beak which I just cut with a pair of scissors.
The leaves were stamped with a stamp by Hampton arts and are stamped with Versafine Spanish Moss.

Here is a closer look. Hope you like it. Have a great weekend and I will be back soon to post a couple of cards that I have made this week.
