Hi everyone, today I would like to share a card I have made for a friends grandson who will be one at the end of this month. For the back ground I stampede and embossed the Tiny Star background stamp from Hero arts. Then I used versacraft ink to stamp the rocket from the Blast off set from <a href="http://www.clearlybesottedstamps.com/">Clearly Besotted stamps</a>. Lastly I cut some yellow card using the 21/2 inch circle puch from Stampin Up then I used an embossing folder to add texture.<div>

Hope you like this card, I will be back soon</div>

Hi Everyone,<br />
Well I ended up playing with this stamp set for a few hours and its just gone midnight and I think it's time for my bed! These stamps literally landed on my doormat this morning and as soon as I got home from work that was it, they were out the packet!<br />
This time I used them to make a card and matching tag ready for our anniversary in March (organized or what!)<br />
Everything on this card was stamped with Versafine ink, the birds are stamped in Smokey Grey and Crimson Red, the leaves are stamped in Spanish Moss and Olympia Green and the cage and the sentiment are stamped in Onyx Black.<br />
I really hope you like this card and tag, all the stamps used can be found at <a href="http://www.clearlybesottedstamps.com/">Clearly Besotted Stamps</a>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-82215317682446118062014-01-08T12:55:00.000-08:002014-01-08T12:55:28.792-08:00Clearly besotted stamps love birds<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

Hi all, well it's been a long time AGAIN! but today I am back with a christmas card that I made over the weekend. The image on this card is from Lili of the Valley, i'm not sure of the name of the stamp. I coloured the stamp with Pro Markers and then added it to a white card blank. Then I took a piece of Kraft cardstock and cut the centre out using my nestabilities and then added it to the card with 3D foam pads.<br />
The sentiment on the bottom is out of the MFT stamp set called Inspired by Christmas. I hope you like this card. I really need to get on and make some more christmas cards as Christmas seems to be approaching fast!<br />
Enjoy your week<br />

It is a book card and took a little while to make but I feel the end result was worth the time I spent on it.<br /><br /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5769167013426028722" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ahO102itkp8/UBAy1RUo4LI/AAAAAAAABUM/nPJjCkTRAJ8/s400/card%2B003.JPG" />The image is from C.C Designs and she has been coloured with Pro markers. The papers I used are from Graphic 45 and are from the collection called "A ladies diary" These are truly beautiful papers.<br /><div align="center"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5769167001224921682" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Dn5AkVwcHRc/UBAy0j3qwlI/AAAAAAAABUA/yUR5TLvkLIY/s400/card%2B004.JPG" />Here is a view from the side, The card is kept closed with a bow tied on the side.<br /><div align="left"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5769166988017689266" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QwgA7L94LoY/UBAyzyq0YrI/AAAAAAAABT4/D3jJwrCSPdY/s400/card%2B001.JPG" />And here is the inside of the card. It is very hard to photograph this card as the light is so bright it makes the inside of the card appear dark in the photo. But below is a closer shot which gives you a better idea of how the inside looks.</div><div align="left">I am very pleased to say that my friend loved it which is a relief! I hope you like it too.</div><div align="left">Enjoy this lovely weather, be back soon with another card.</div><div align="left">Maria<br /></div><div align="left"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5769166972359224066" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1neUMz-w2FA/UBAyy4VjKwI/AAAAAAAABTo/8xFst1Xt9Rs/s400/card%2B002.JPG" /></div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-52965612612689654762012-07-14T03:13:00.002-07:002012-07-14T03:26:11.697-07:00More My Favourite ThingsWell Good Morning and Happy weekend, I have had such a busy week with lots of running around being taxi service for my younger son, he is getting ready to leave primary school and starts senior school in October. Can't believe I will have no more school runs!<br /><div align="center">Anyway onto the card. I made this card using stamps and dies from MFT. I cut the pallet out of wood venre which looks really effective. and then once I added to paint die cuts I coloured them and then added Glossy accents over the top.</div><div align="center"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5764967074242988002" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dqs-75Jv7sY/UAFHAooTh-I/AAAAAAAABTY/alZYUNRcqJE/s400/v%2B002.JPG" />The Little image has been coloured with Pro markers and her appron has been paper pieced with the same designer paper that was used for the card.<br /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5764967066775804530" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-pthbM3OCsvU/UAFHAMz_WnI/AAAAAAAABTM/BNorBKWSrS4/s400/v%2B003.JPG" />Here is a close up, hope you like it. I don't know about you but I am soooo fed up of this rain! it has been raining here all day. So the only thing to do after the house had been cleaned was to craft.</div><div>I don't know about you, but my memory is terrible (just ask my mum) lol. So I always like to have some belated birthday cards to hand. I seem to send more of these than birthday cards that are on time!!<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5764302152510392450" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-q8YeZ_BSzXs/T_7qRGJmyII/AAAAAAAABSE/4V7pf7GYUtc/s400/greet%2B009.JPG" /><br /></div><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5764299444342638994" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Tmfywqg5Y4c/T_7nzdcGSZI/AAAAAAAABR4/VM071QswzfA/s400/greet%2B006.JPG" />As the title of this post says I was keeping the card nice and simple. The stamp I used is from C.C Designs, I don't know what she is called as I purchased her from Michelle at the Card Grotto when she was having a clear out of her stamps and listing them on ebay.</div><div>The papers are from My minds eye The Lime twist collection and they are called "Happy go lucky"<br /></div><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5764299425759323042" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yWFh31CoFeY/T_7nyYNfY6I/AAAAAAAABRs/26nIKKyYlgU/s400/greet%2B007.JPG" />The images are all coloured with Pro markers. I purchased the little greeting stamp from The craft room.<br /><div align="center"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5764299419087689986" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kQ73KI-e5EY/T_7nx_W2WQI/AAAAAAAABRg/JMROgm-zBow/s400/greet%2B008.JPG" />A little close up of each card, all slighty different from the others.<br /><div> </div></div></div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-16878747886456525732012-07-08T04:05:00.002-07:002012-07-08T04:11:12.459-07:00Friends birthday cardWell I know I said I would be back with this on friday but for some reason my shedueled posts are not showing! Today I have made two cards, one birthday card and one wedding card. I thought I would share the Wedding card first and then the birthday card tomorrow, as it is for a friends birthday which is tomorrow and I know she reads my blog!<br /><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761698740833609858" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bjBLUMIn6Ls/T_Wqel4z6II/AAAAAAAABQ0/pnu71XeyI1I/s400/bear%2Bcards%2B010.JPG" />For this wedding card I used a Fizzy Moon stamp which is called "Wedding Bells". I love this stamp and it's great for colouring with Pro Markers.<br /><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761698731378425346" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n-0LlKwqlMw/T_WqeCqhPgI/AAAAAAAABQo/yf-eNPbSDC8/s400/bear%2Bcards%2B009.JPG" />I cut the tag and doily with a die. The Ribbon is Vintage seam binding from The craft room. The flowers and heart pins are also from the Craft room. The backing paper is by Prima and is from the Fairy belle collection.<br /><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5761698728653536754" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1Thh0fj0SCo/T_Wqd4g2vfI/AAAAAAAABQc/15sNT66AXBc/s400/bear%2Bcards%2B007.JPG" />Here are a couple of close up shots. NOT! I don't know about you but all we have had today is rain. Today I want to show you a banner I have made to go on the wall in my craft room. Now because of the size it is very hard to photograph. So please excuse the pictures, they are also quite dark due to the light being rubbish today. The papers and flowers are more colourful in real life!<br /><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5756477018009658658" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qGixT9IIg6U/T-MdWUgqZSI/AAAAAAAABPw/2WHD4rXzrhs/s400/banner%2B005.JPG" />The pennants and letters are made from MDF which I purchased at the craft room, Newton Abbot. The papers I used are from the timeless collection by Kaisercraft and I also purchsed them at the same place. I edged the paper with Gathered twigs distress ink.<br /><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5756477012245946434" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6mddtL-7EGg/T-MdV_CfIEI/AAAAAAAABPk/nVbShSVusOg/s400/banner%2B011.JPG" />Here are some closer shots, please excuse all the clutter around the banner, but this was the only place I could really spread the banner out. As you can see the Banner spells out the word CREATE, which is what I hope to be doing in my craft room when i'm in there Mojo permitting!! lol. </div><div>Well thats me for now, I hope you like my banner. When I have put it up on my wall I will post more photos. Have a great day</div><div>Maria :0) x<br /></div><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5756477007833562834" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-haqGilDwtd0/T-MdVumfftI/AAAAAAAABPY/CtJQYm1zzHw/s400/banner%2B010.JPG" /></div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-35049914847881287132012-06-05T08:50:00.003-07:002012-06-05T09:03:19.440-07:00Tool storageHi everyone, I hope you are enjoying your bank holiday break, you can always guarantee it will rain. Today I want to share an altered storage box/basket. I am always looking for things to store my crafting tools in and when I spotted this in a junk shop for a pound I just had to have it. It was looking rather sorry for itself, covered in cobwebs and soil.<br />Firstly I washed it all down and then sanded it to give it a key to paint it. I painted it cream and added some trims ect. I kept it simple because obviously it has to be practical too.<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KVYqnSN1emk/T84rnUCmdQI/AAAAAAAABO8/NZmJvV1dYDI/s1600/m%2B368.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5750581733511669394" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gs4WtX6J5GM/T84rnmXQJpI/AAAAAAAABPI/6lj-rk8wY6A/s400/m%2B366.JPG" /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5750581728593212674" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KVYqnSN1emk/T84rnUCmdQI/AAAAAAAABO8/NZmJvV1dYDI/s400/m%2B368.JPG" /></a>And here it is finished, I use it to store my paper towels, glue gun and other tools on top of my desk. Not bad for a pound and a bit of TLC!! I also like it because it is different. Hope you like it too.<br />Maria<br /><div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-43544452050031588192012-05-25T08:07:00.002-07:002012-05-25T08:18:48.531-07:00Well what a lovely day again, today has been really hot here. So to keep up with the summery feel I have a flower project to share. These are origami paper flower pens. I made these last night and had a lot of fun making them.<br /><br /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5746488756086409698" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tOQqkP0EoUw/T7-hE9ROieI/AAAAAAAABOs/9_Nxr3jnmfo/s400/flower%2Bpens%2Band%2Bpirates%2B005.JPG" />They look so pretty stood in a pot or jar together. I used a paper pad by Teresa collings to make them, and added buttons to the centres to finish them off.<br /><div align="center"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5746488746905833538" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NYspuJrQnO0/T7-hEbEaEEI/AAAAAAAABOg/-tjfdV23EA4/s400/flower%2Bpens%2Band%2Bpirates%2B003.JPG" />Don't they look lovely. Below you can see how they look out of the pot. I hope you like them, I sure do. Be back soon, enjoy the sunshine.</div><div align="center">Maria<br /><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 398px; height: 304px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5746488736203904162" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-E65fcFPeE2U/T7-hDzM3lKI/AAAAAAAABOU/dWarFqTKfsI/s400/flower%2Bpens%2Band%2Bpirates%2B007.JPG" /></div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-35960264804981872462012-05-10T08:14:00.002-07:002012-05-10T08:24:43.188-07:00Gorjuss Girl cardHi Everyone, today I have a Gorjuss girl card to show you. I love these stamps by santoro graphics there are so adorable and easy to colour too. I thought I would use a different colour scheme to the usual ones I use and I love the way it turned out. The image has been cut out with a die and then mounted onto the card using 3D foam pads. Some of the hearts have also been mounted on foam pads to give the card some dimension.<br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dxckI1zfZhQ/T6vcBPhwg0I/AAAAAAAABN4/jcVzumw33c0/s1600/craft%2B021.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5740924074680787538" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fYjVYg-h_Q4/T6vcB3nWIlI/AAAAAAAABOE/Mzm5W1ZcE7U/s400/craft%2B020.JPG" /></a>Below is another view of the card from a side angle. Hope you like the Black, White and Red combo. Be back soon with another card, Promise not to leave it so long this time!! Have a good day.</div><div>Maria<br /><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5740924063919932226" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dxckI1zfZhQ/T6vcBPhwg0I/AAAAAAAABN4/jcVzumw33c0/s400/craft%2B021.JPG" /></div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-41086153231199108682012-03-04T07:38:00.002-08:002012-03-04T07:48:50.417-08:00Good afternoon, I hope you are all having a relaxing Sunday. The sun has come out here this afternoon which has got me in a summery mood! hence the colours used on this card. I made this card for a friends birthday. I used the Gorjuss Girls stamps and paper pieced their dresses. The paper is from Bo Bunny and is from the Ambrosia collection which has just been released at CHA 2012.<br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7h7Y2DWhndc/T1OM6ZT3UvI/AAAAAAAABNU/v5AHp6nLMBw/s1600/gorgeous%2Bgirls%2B002.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5716067296287263570" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1XMzNHAUSso/T1OM68NuC1I/AAAAAAAABNg/SCROdiQryiI/s400/gorgeous%2Bgirls%2B004.JPG" /><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 300px; height: 400px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5716067286917796594" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7h7Y2DWhndc/T1OM6ZT3UvI/AAAAAAAABNU/v5AHp6nLMBw/s400/gorgeous%2Bgirls%2B002.JPG" /></a><br /><div>I have distressed the papers and card quite heavily to give the card a shabby look. Obviously with all the dimension that is on this card it will be going into a box rather than an envelope!</div><div>Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Tomorrow I am teaching monochromatic cards so if you are booked into this class I will see you tomorrow.</div><div>Thanks for stopping by</div><div>Maria</div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-58678137006132269882012-02-18T03:19:00.003-08:002012-02-18T03:56:16.045-08:00Cupcake<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-piCEytJFISg/Tz-Rqjwdl7I/AAAAAAAABNI/6PJpUomUFE0/s1600/pi%2B001.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710443012868118450" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-piCEytJFISg/Tz-Rqjwdl7I/AAAAAAAABNI/6PJpUomUFE0/s400/pi%2B001.JPG" /></a><br /><div><div>Good morning everyone, thank goodness it's the weekend! I am trying to catch up with uploading the cards that I have made over the last few weeks. If only we could have a few more hours in each day!<br /><div>Anyway onto the card. This is a card I made using another Pure innocence stamp by MFT. I really do love these stamps and they are great for using your Pro markers or copics to colour in. The design papers I used are from Basic Grey and the collection is called "Kissing booth."<br /><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710434477289665042" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-O80nTeZYOmQ/Tz-J5uP-chI/AAAAAAAABMs/vzmLmnh2S_s/s400/pi%2B002.JPG" />I used my sewing machine to stitch the papers. I also paper pieced the little girls dress. The sentiment stamp is also from MFT but I can't remember what the set is called. Below is a view of the inside of the card. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like the card.</div><div>TTFN</div><div>Maria<br /></div><div><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710434464991119362" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2B5x8R8enZ4/Tz-J5AbxiAI/AAAAAAAABMg/Mk6eFq99IFY/s400/pi%2B003.JPG" /></div></div></div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-32983059411714382872012-02-17T08:00:00.000-08:002012-02-17T08:11:38.664-08:00Owl note book<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 397px; height: 308px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710135877446283778" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-as0PJh_NQLg/Tz56U7JmMgI/AAAAAAAABMM/fhu74pHIAjs/s400/owl2%2B001.JPG" />Here is a little note book that I have made using my Cinch Binding tool. It is only a small book, it is 13cm square, a perfect size to carry in your bag. The papers I used are from My minds eye. The owl has been made with circle punches, except for his beak which I just cut with a pair of scissors.<br />The leaves were stamped with a stamp by Hampton arts and are stamped with Versafine Spanish Moss.<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FwgStMtpfds/Tz56UVS1PUI/AAAAAAAABMA/fz0qF_7HLr4/s1600/owl2%2B002.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; width: 400px; height: 300px; text-align: center; display: block; cursor: pointer;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5710135867284471106" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FwgStMtpfds/Tz56UVS1PUI/AAAAAAAABMA/fz0qF_7HLr4/s400/owl2%2B002.JPG" /></a><br /><div align="center">Here is a closer look. Something I use for a different effect sometimes is Distress ink re-inkers. These give a lovely watercolour effect and you can make your image as subtle or as bold as you want simply by adding less or more water to your ink.<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U4KY4shH1W0/Ty7uzv2Ks5I/AAAAAAAABLI/AZSvMPYGYVY/s1600/distress%2Bink%2B003.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705760350709396370" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U4KY4shH1W0/Ty7uzv2Ks5I/AAAAAAAABLI/AZSvMPYGYVY/s400/distress%2Bink%2B003.JPG" /></a> Here is an image I have been colouring today. She is not finished yet, but I thought I would show you my work in progress. Plus I am still deciding what colour to do her dress and shoes.<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uTCWDExt0o8/Ty7uzIzD-iI/AAAAAAAABK8/dC8cYA8nO2M/s1600/distress%2Bink%2B004.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705760340227389986" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uTCWDExt0o8/Ty7uzIzD-iI/AAAAAAAABK8/dC8cYA8nO2M/s400/distress%2Bink%2B004.JPG" /></a> Here's a close up. Well I will be back to show you the finished image tomorrow. Why not give it a try yourself. I used some paper from my scraps draw to make a strip across my card and with the little bit I had leftover I paper pieced the jumper to match. The image has been coloured in using Pro Markers.<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2_vMQZd2St0/Tx1P3rk2kJI/AAAAAAAABKw/a8STVIk3Yok/s1600/lim%2B009.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700800521329610898" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2_vMQZd2St0/Tx1P3rk2kJI/AAAAAAAABKw/a8STVIk3Yok/s400/lim%2B009.JPG" /></a> I then cut a white piece of card with my nestabilities Decorative circle die and stuck it to the front of the card. I then mounted the mouse image to the card using 3D foam pads.<br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z046pvAG3no/Tx1P3cz3Z-I/AAAAAAAABKk/OQqBST1jjeQ/s1600/lim%2B010.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5700800517366048738" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-z046pvAG3no/Tx1P3cz3Z-I/AAAAAAAABKk/OQqBST1jjeQ/s400/lim%2B010.JPG" /></a> The birthday sentiment on the bottom of the card is from My Favourite things. Hope you like it. Have a good day</div><br /><br /><div>Maria x<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7025500181550216106.post-91797736323904060192012-01-13T09:09:00.000-08:002012-01-13T09:15:22.042-08:00More StorageHere is another wall of my craftroom. This is where I store some of my most used tools. The baskets and rails are from Ikea and I use them for storing some of my sprays and stains and also my heat tools and punches.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697165079479848130" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FgUoKSkjxaA/TxBldHUoDMI/AAAAAAAABKA/iENnc8hDpGo/s400/storage%2B001.JPG" />I find this storage idea really handy and you can see where everything is and it is all to hand. Hope you like it.<br />Maria.<br /><br /><br /><div></div>Maria's Cardshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02172790011156021516noreply@blogger.com4
