Thursday

Hi Everyone, hope you are having a good week. Here is a card I made using another stamp set from The Greetings Farm, The backing paper is from My Minds eye and is from the pad called Gertie. I coloured Anya with Copic markers and then paper pieced her hair band and the bath tub. I cut her out using the lacy doily die from Nellie Snellen and distressed the edges with Tea Dye distress ink. The little greetings came with the stamp set too.

Here is the inside of the card. again her robe and towel have been paper pieced and the rest of her coloured with my Copic markers.

Have a good day, thanks for stopping by

Mondays card

Here is a card I made this morning using a new stamp by MFT, she is called Sweet Fairy Jolinne. First I stamped her out and coloured her. Then I cut her out leaving a very narrow border around her. She is mounted on the card with Foam pads on top of a Hero arts Greeting that has been cut out with a nestabilitie. The backing paper is by Bo Bunny and was bought at the craft room. The brads are also Bo Bunny and the flowers are E- line flowers by Prima.
I have glittered her wings but it's not showing on the photo as it is raining here and is very dark, AGAIN!!!
Hope you are enjoying half term so far, we have had a nice quiet day at home

Sunday

Well a few days late, but here is the other Fancy Anya card mentioned in my last post. I have made some more cards over the weekend and none of them have this Anya on them!! Hurray I hear you say lol.The backing papers I used on this card are from a pad by First Edition paper and it is called Love Letters. They are lovely papers and there is a lot of pink in them. I also paper pieced Anya's Dress in the same paper.
Here is a closer look. I hope everyone has had a good weekend apart from all the rain that is!
Will be back tomorrow with some more cards, so stayed tuned.

Another Fancy Anya

Well, every project this week seems to have a Greetings farm stamp on it! Here is another card made with the stamp called Fancy Anya. The backing paper is made by Prima and is from "The Jack and Jill" collection, these really are gorgeous papers to work with. I have paper pieced Anya's dress with the paper so the card all matches. The card blank is a dark brown colour which really makes this paper stand out. I mounted Anya onto the card with foam pads and then added some paper roses, a skeleton leave, Some lace and some stringed pearls to finish the card off.
Hope you like it
Have a good weekend, will be back tomorrow with another fancy Anya card lol. (well I did say she was my favourite!)

Another card, same papers

As I said in my last post I am trying to make sure that when I cut into a new piece of paper I use the whole piece. I got fed up with having boxes full of scraps that never really got used up. This card was made with another greetings farm stamp called Skater Ian

The papers have been distressed on the edges with Walnut stain Distress ink. Ian has been coloured with my pro markers and then stuck onto the card with dimensionals.

Have a good day everyone

A late night post!

Firstly excuse the lighting in these photos, they have been taken at 11 in the evening and the lighting in my craft room isn't great for photos taken at night. Tonight I decided to make some boy's cards as my son has some parties coming up. (Makes me sound organised!!) For this card I used a Greetings Farm stamp called Surfer Ian, Isn't he adorable? The papers I used are from DCWV and are called Doodle Around. The greeting was printed out on my computer.
This photo gives you a closer look. I have been using these stamps a lot lately (can you tell? lol)
I also made another boys card using the same papers which I will show you tomorrow. The reason I used the same papers is that I am now trying to use up the whole sheet of paper when I use it rather than storing off cuts in a scrap draw. I used to do this and ended up with lots of paper just hanging around. The idea is working so far and means less waste!
Well I hope you are all having a good week so far, nearly the weekend and then it's half term which means an extra hour in bed each day, Fabulous!
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments

Stamped Acrylic block Backgrounds

The background on this card was made by stamping an ink pad onto your acrylic block and then swiping across a piece of White cardstock. The tilda image has been coloured with Pro markers. Sorry for the poor lighting in this photo but it hasn't stopped raining here all day and it is very dark here.
Hope you are all having a good week

Tim Holtz Tag Die Mini Album

This is an album I made using the Tim Holtz Tag die by sizzix. I cut six tags in total out of White Chipboard and then another 12 tags from designer paper from Bo Bunny.
I have made some pockets in the album to store extra photos ect. The eyelets are 7 Gypsies from The craft room. I used my cinch to bind the album together and then used buttons and Bling to embellish the cover and the pages inside. The edges have been distressed with walnut stain. Hope you like it.

Fancy Anya Door Hanger

Here is a door hanger I made yesterday using one of my new stamps from The Greetings Farm, her name is Fancy Anya and I must say she is becoming one of my favourites. I covered the wood blank with design paper from Bo Bunny and also used paper from the same collection to paper piece her dress.
I distressed the edge with Walnut stain Distress ink and then added some flowers to finish.
Hope everyone is having a good day
