I thought you might like to see these lovely bookmarks that my little boy made to sell for Comic relief. He loves crafting and in November he made Christmas cards to sell at school to raise money for children in need. He raised £26.00 for Children in need and for comic relief he raised just over £30.00. So as you can gather it is a proud Mum moment!!lol.

Blog candy runner up

You might remember a few weeks ago that Jill was the winner of my birthday blog candy, well when I told her that she had won she said that she had been out a bought the stamp set and could I offer it as a runner up prize. So I entered the numbers into random.org and the number was 13 which is Kaz.

Birthday Thank yous

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to my blogging buddies that have so kindly sent me gifts for my Birthday today. Thank you sooo much guys for making my birthday so special today. The first 2 photos are of the card and goodies that Vicki sent me. The little pink box has some Lovely Chocolates in it, Have hidden these away from the kids!! lol. Thank you Vicki x

And this last card is from Michelle it came with these gorgeous ribbons and brads. Thank you so much Michelle. So as you can all see I have had a wonderful birthday with some gorgeous cards and gifts. So thank you everyone, you have made my birthday extra special x x.

I was also very lucky as mu DH bought me a new Papermania wheelable tote and the gorjuss new stamps from sugarnellie (gorjuss girls) they have been sitting on my DH desk for over a week and I haven't been allowed to use them!! but today I finally got my hands on them, but haven't had time to use them yet lol.

Birthday and Blogoversary candy

Yesterday was my one year Blogoversary. The year seems to have flown by. I have really enjoyed blogging over the last year and I appreciate all the lovely comments that people leave for me. So to celebrate I am giving away some candy.

Dies to Die for DT Call

Tracey at Dies to Die for is looking for a guest DT member pop over to her blog for details, but hurry it ends today. (I hope i'm not too late). These are the cards I have made to enter.This first card was made using one of the new Penny Black stamps for 2009. I also used my new Martha punch, which is fab!! The Greeting is from CWC and to add a little colour I used a chalk pad to colour around the edges.

Here is another card made with a Penny Black stamp. The backing paper is from SU as is the gorgeous ribbon. Flowers are Prima and the image was coloured with my Whisper pens.

This is the card I have made for my youngest son who will be 8 this week. (my how time zooms!!) The stamp is called Froggy gift from Tracey herself at Dies to die for. The stars were made with a Dovecraft punch, Greeting is CWC and the ribbon is from SU. The backing papers were from my scraps draw!!

I do apologise for these awful pics, but they were taken at my Mum's house as I had sealed the envelope down and then realised I hadn't taken a photo of the card!! lol. Yesterday was my Mum and Dads 48th Wedding Anniversay. I have used Bazzill cardstock for the matting and layering and the patterned paper is the Forever Friends papers. Label holder is from Making Memories and the flowers are Primas. The image is one I recieved in a swap.

Hope everyone is having a good day. We have gale force winds and it's pouring with rain!!. Hope I'm not too late with my Entry. Keeping everything crossed lol!!

Finally some cards!!

At last a couple of cards. It's been a while!!. This first card was made with one of the new penny black stamps released for 2009. I have coloured the image in with my Whisper pens and the cut out with my rectangle Nestabilities. The background paper is from The spring stack and the Ribbon and flowers are from my stashFor the second card I used my beloved Sugarnellie stamp and cut her out using my new Nestabilities, The flowers are Prima and the centre brad is from Dovecraft. The Ribbon is from SU. The circle greeting is CWC.

Well I hope everyone is keeping well. Sorry for my recent lack of blogging, I have been so busy lately I just don't know where the time goes. Yesterday was my one year blogoversary, so I will be back with some blog candy very soon.
