Craft Show..

Yesterday I went to the Creative Stitches and Hobby crafts Show at Westpoint Exhibition Centre in Exeter. I had a fantastic day with my mum and we shopped until we dropped!! There was several displays of my favourite Penny Black stamps. Here are the goodies that I bought..

I Found the tutorial for this Card Organizer on Splitcoasters you can View it here so I thought I would have a go. I don't know if I have finished the cover or not as i'm trying to decide weather to write card Organizer on the front. The tutorial is very easy to follow and is quite easy to make. I decided to put cute images inside of mine instead of stamping patterns inside as they have.It has a free download on the tutorial to print of the little calender pages
It really is worth taking a look.

Triple Embossing

I hadn't done any Triple Embossing for a long time. So for a change I did some today. I also had a change from making cute cards and went for something more simple.

The Bronze flowers have been made using the Triple Embossing method.

Tri-fold Pocket Card

After seeing the Tutorial for this Pocket card on Splitcoasters I thought I would give it a go and make one. Here is the result.For the Pocket and the card I used Bazzill card stock in 3 different colours.
The verse stamp was inked with my Whisper pens and stamped onto the front of the card.

The stamp is called Fabulous Birthday (C4633) and is made by Hero Arts.

The Flower stamp is from a clear set by Inkadinkado. Patterned paper is by Dovecraft as is the Ribbon.

A Couple Of Christmas Cards..

Here are a couple of Christmas cards I have made using my new stamps. I have made half of my Christmas cards now, so no rush for me this December!This card was made using Bazzill Basics Card stock, To Create the Scalloped bottom I used my Dovecraft Corner punch. The red ribbon is also Dovecraft, Oval Greeting is from Craftwork Cards and the Stamp is called Santa and is made by Whipper Snapper
This card is made using Red card from my stash, Ribbon is by Dovecraft and the Stamp is called Snow Cuddles and is by Penny Black.

A BIG Thank You To My Secret Sister

Today in the post I recieved my package from my Secret Sister and I have got to say I was Blown away. It came in the shape of 3 boxes, each beautifully decorated. In each box was a kit. Each kit has it's own papers, ribbons, brads and Images.

I am so grateful to my Secret Sister for this gorgeous package, Thank you so much. The boxes are stunning and the pictures (and my photography)really do not do them justice. This gift really does have such a personal touch.

I have a feeling I know who my Secret Sister is, but I will have to wait to see if I am right!

Free Standing Pop Up Card.

I made this little Pop Up Card after seeing the tutorial on Splitcoasters. The Instuctions were really easy to follow and I am really pleased with the finished result.

The Picture above shows the card free standing and the picture below shows how it looks when folded down to go into the envelope.

I am thinking of stamping a greeting just above the two little flowers, but as I am not sure I haven't done it yet.

Forever Friends

Oh dear...... Look what happened when I went to the shops today. These little Forever Friends bears are sooo gorgeous I just couldn't resist! And of course you MUST ALWAYS have the matching papers lol.

I have tried them out already and they are great to colour and the papers go so well with the stamps. This is my first card made with one of the stamps and paper from the Romance pad.

Thinking of you....

I made this card with my new Changito clear stamp from stampendous. This is the same size as the wooden version of this stamp, but with the clear you have a choice of text to put in the frame. I purchased this from an American seller on ebay. Her ebay I.D is craftycarol. She has some amazing stamps and with postage this stamp cost me around £3.00.

Butterfly Card

Hi Everyone, It's good to be back! Had problems with our new internet provider due to our wiring apparently! and had no internet for a few weeks. Finally got it all sorted a few days ago thank goodness. Felt lost without it and lost my mojo for a while lol. Got quite a few cards to post so will try to post as many as I can today.
